A recent post circulating on WhatsApp has claimed that the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund) is recruiting for 2023/2024
The post was retrieved from a WhatsApp group on December 9, 2023 claims that the recruitment portal is open, while also including salary range and qualification for the said positions.

THE FINDINGS
Findings by FactCheck247 show that the claim is FALSE
Factcheck247 observed grammatical error on the suspicious link. Instead of APPOINTMENT, the page contains APPOITMENT. error ridden copy is a characteristics of phishing scams.
Also observed that the link circulating on WhatsApp has a different URL from the official website of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, which is https://tetfund.gov.ng
The website in question employs tactics used by fraudulent entities which compel individuals to Share it with either 5 groups or 15 people on WhatsApp before accessing the appointment form
To verify the link, e.veritas, a web link verification tool was and it tagged the link as SUSPICIOUS
In addition, the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund) said the claim via their official X page described the claim a scam
